right now (relatively speaking) the light is best (for a close-up)

this morning started earlier for no apparent reason (remind me to speak to “them” about “their” internal alarm clocks).

0724130606as a consequence, we caught the sunrise.

0724130610which, “rosy-fingered dawn” (ibid. homer/odyssey) etc. & so on.

0724130615please note that said dawn-ish light does provide a filter that masks the blemishes that living leaves on a face.

They call it a "life event". You may think you're old when AARP starts after you at 50, but that's nothing compared to signing up for Medicare at 64.75. Then it hits you...day-um, I am old. Forget the bullshit about "it's only a number," you're right, it is a number, a larger number you never thought you'd see, let alone plan for. <deep sigh> #lifeevent #ageism #medicare #willyoustillloveme #whenimsixtyfour #lily #yellow #rant #lateintheday #lastofthesunlight #ohwell #whatsnext
