picture books i have not looked at, but feel as if i have (the accumulation of knowledge)

fortune paid me a visit a couple of weeks ago. (like this.)

books 1in the guise of a dearly departed aunt (not mine.)

books 2and now i’m sorting through stacks and boxes and totes of books on art — it appears that she stopped buying picture books around 1969 — that is not a complaint. the bounty seems a bit overwhelming, being the art whore i am, so for now they sit on a table and rest on the floor of a garage that a car would not fit in because it’s filled with…a longer life than i had expected.
