the palm’s lament (housekeeping)

i loathe housework, sighed the queen palm.

all that dusting, vacuuming, wiping, and polishing. a clean house is hardly worth the work for it’s dirty again within minutes, she lamented.

instead, while you mere mortals scurry about like ants, i believe i’ll take a swipe at the sky and see if it doesn’t improve my view.
