The Path to Enlightenment

I think I’ve found the path to enlightenment–surround yourself with art, just as the builder of the Taj Mahal, Shah Jahan, is depicted here (right) on his path to enlightenment (gouache on silk, c. late 19th or early 20th century;) as art, if you let it, does contribute to your overall well-being, opening your mind to new possibilities & opportunities and allowing you to view life through a powerful lens.

And just as the painting on the left, Honesty (by the incomparable Judith Bledsoe, oil on linen) reminds me, through color and composition, to be true to my self and my goals.
