With Downton Abbey ending, it’s a perfect opportunity to ( re ) visit what I consider to be the Grandest British Series related to a Stately Manor…Brideshead Revisited.
i wasn’t very clear, Bob; what i meant to say is i think this may be my last season watching downton abby…i just felt the opening of season 3 was a bit dull–yes there was still a few zingers from the dowager countess and shirley maclaine singing “let me call you sweetheart” was pretty wonderful, but otherwise it was as predictable as an old pair of shoes.
